Visiting Guidelines
Helen Ley House
All visits at Helen Ley House are currently Room Visits. Please make your bookings via the online booking system, at least 24 hours in advance of the day you would like to visit. When booking, please include the names of the visitors. Please select your expected time of arrival from the time slots provided, so that our staff can be ready to welcome you and have the outside doors open of the Residents being visited, as visitors will enter from the outside.
When and where:
- Every weekday from Monday to Friday between 0900 and 1600.
- Every Saturday and Sunday between 1400 and 1600.
- In individual Residents’ bedrooms.
- On arrival, please ring the bell in the foyer if there is no one at Reception, and wait for a staff member to assist you.
- Please sign in on arrival and out when you leave, for purposes of fire safety. A Visitors schedule is kept at Reception.
Visitor numbers:
- There may be a maximum of three visitors at a time. Should more visitors want to visit at one time, please email [email protected] so that alternative arrangements can be made.
LFD testing:
- No longer required.
A few COVID protection rules:
- Visitors are still required to wear a face covering for the duration of the visit.
- Social distancing is to be observed at all times.
- Visitors may use the toilet facilities inside the bedroom.
- Visitors should remain within the bedroom of the resident being visited, for the duration of the visit.
Tea & coffee will be offered to visitors as the afternoon drinks trolley passes each bedroom.
After the visit, relatives/friends will leave through the outside door to the garden.
Lillington House
All visits at Lillington House are currently Room Visits. Please make your bookings via the online booking system, at least 24 hours in advance of the day you would like to visit. When booking, please include the names of the visitors. Please select your expected time of arrival from the time slots provided, so that our staff can be ready to welcome you and accompany you to the Resident you are visiting.
When and where:
- Every weekday from Monday to Friday between 0900 and 1600.
