At Castel Froma Neuro Care, our mission is to provide specialist care, rehabilitation and support for adults living with complex neurological conditions. As an award-winning charity based in Royal Leamington Spa, we support people with conditions such as brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and Motor Neurone Disease, helping residents maintain independence, dignity and quality of life.
To continue delivering this vital work, strong governance and strategic leadership are essential. Our Board of Trustees plays a crucial role in guiding the charity’s long-term direction, ensuring high standards of governance and helping us remain focused on our charitable purpose.
We are currently seeking individuals interested in a volunteer trustee opportunity to join our Board. Trustees help shape strategy, support effective decision-making and ensure the charity remains financially sustainable while continuing to deliver high-quality services for residents and their families.
Trustees are not involved in the day-to-day running of the organisation, but instead bring their experience, judgement and perspective to board discussions. We welcome applicants with expertise in areas such as finance, business development, information technology, health and social care, governance or commissioning, as well as those with lived experience of neurological conditions or caring.
To support new board members, Castel Froma Neuro Care operates an Associate Trustee induction model. This structured approach allows individuals to attend meetings, receive governance training and be mentored by an experienced trustee before formally taking on full trustee responsibilities.
Becoming a trustee is an opportunity to contribute your skills to a cause that makes a real difference in people’s lives. It is also a chance to gain valuable board-level governance experience while supporting the future of specialist neurological care in our community.
